To provide professional, creative & personalized career counselling & coaching services which enable clients to develop fulfilling work & personal lives.
Career Help: Whether a person has had direction, mentoring, or on the job coaching, it can be very useful to engage an independent, outside source to help him or her “unpack” what they have accomplished so far, re-examine their needs, and chart a new path.
Life Stage:  Returning to work after maternity leave, short term disability or any other life circumstance such as job loss or semi-retirement can be daunting. Career counselling is a much needed support to adults, often overlooked, when people are re-entering the workforce. It is not unusual for a person to begin their career, and later reach a point in their lives when they seek a change.

Career Counselling
Vantage Point offers individual counselling related to career planning and retirement planning. In a confidential face to face meeting, over the phone, or via online services, we help you identify your strengths, challenges and goals for your future.
Career Coaching
Career Coaching services provide goal oriented support to individuals who want someone to help them define their career plans, and support them every step of the way. 
Group Programs
Returning to work can be intimidating, so we want you to know you are not alone! Vantage Point offers group support programs in East Toronto for people wanting to return to the workforce after time away.
Workshops
Vantage Point offers training and workshop delivery services in the GTA on topics related to career planning, employment readiness and conquering barriers to employment.

Vantage Point Careers is a unique career counselling and coaching service, headed by a social worker. This training brings an understanding of employment barriers which people may face at any point during their career. We use a combination of social work expertise and employment readiness tools to provide assessment, exploration and goal setting. Clients book a series of three appointments to take full advantage of this service.

Do you have group programs for moms returning to work after maternity leave?

Yes we offer group support programs for parents returning to work after maternity leave. Call to see when the next one is starting!

Can career coaching help me if I’ve been on disability?

Coaching is an excellent support for people who have been off work based on a disability to develop the confidence to return to their position. We can begin the process before you go back, and stay in touch for the first few months to ensure everything is going well. Call to learn more about this service.
